As an emergency asdmission to hospital I was extremely fortunate to have Miss Patel as my Consultant Surgeon. This kind, caring and dedicated lady ensured I received excellent care throughout my stay, explaining everything in detail from diagnosis, operation through to final recovery stage. Following emergency surgery, I met Miss Patel along with the colorectal Clinical Nurse Specialist for follow up. Miss Patel invited me to an appoinment to discuss the results on a face-to-face basis. My husband and I were given a thorough explanation of the procedure, further follow up and planned future investigations.
